How to Support the Band
Like all organizations the Burlington Municipal Band has expenses. We are grateful to the Henry and Elsie Starker Memorial Trust for its support in covering our regular operating expenses and to the City of Burlington which generously provides our rehearsal space (Memorial Auditorium), houses our equipment and our music library and maintains the band shell and its beautiful setting in Crapo Park. We are also grateful to the Burlington Fine Arts League which has, for several years, generously provided the band with grants for the purchase of new music.
With the costs of music and equipment continuing to rise, however, this support, generous as it is, cannot fully cover the band's needs. Because of this, it is our hope that our audience and others who are interested in supporting the band's efforts will help with financial support. In recent years, some have chosen to remember loved ones by establishing memorials in their name for the band.
