2009 Summer Schedule
The precise details of our summer concert schedules are always highly tentative, and remain so at all times, due especially to the weather. Much of our equipment, including our printed music, cannot necessarily survive exposure to rain, so occasionally concerts must be canceled or even stopped "in progress". And, if a concert is canceled, we sometimes arrange to perform that same concert later in the season.
Here, then, is a tentative list of our 2009 Sunday evening concerts and their conductors:
June 7 -- Mark Eveleth
June 14 -- Arnie Anderson
June 21 -- Carmen Lachnitt
June 28 -- Marcia Korb/Brenda Liddle
July 5 -- Derrick Murphy
July 12 -- Ron Coberly
July 19 -- Ted Francis
July 26 (Teddy Bear's Picnic concert) -- Jim Priebe
August 2 -- Mike Lachnitt
August 9 -- "Round Robin" and/or previously "rained out" concert
The Burlington Municipal Band will also perform in the Steamboat Days Parade on Saturday, June 20 (and possibly other as-yet-unscheduled events).
